Professional senior care duties vary depending on the needs and requests of clients and families. Common home care duties may include:

  • Assistance with activities of daily living

While Visiting Angels always looks for experienced caregivers, prior experience is optional for most entry-level positions. Some locations may require special certifications, training, or experience to apply for certain caregiver positions.

In many cases, your local Visiting Angels can help you get certifications required by your state. Many of our locations also offer paid training, orientation, and continuing education opportunities through the Visiting Angels "Caregiver University."
