January 2nd, 2020 marked the beginning of our 4th year of providing care to the Lynchburg area.
During the past 3 years our team has been awarded several “Best In-Home Care” awards.
In our first year we were awarded 3rd place by Our Health Magazine and The News and Advance as well as 2nd place with Lynchburg Living for best in home care provider.
In 2018 we were awarded 3rd again by News and Advance, 2nd by Our Health Magazine, and 1st place with Lynchburg Living Magazine.
2019 was our best year to date. We qualified as a “Trusted Provider” with Home Care Pulse who conduct interviews with our clients and our caregivers to rate the way we operate on a monthly basis.
We were awarded 1st place with Lynchburg Living Magazine, Our Health Magazine, and the News and Advance. We also won “Provider of Choice” and “Employer of Choice” through Home Care Pulse.
I have had many clients ask how we excelled so quickly after introducing Visiting Angels in our hometown of Lynchburg. I believe the way we treat our employees makes all the difference. It is not my job as the Director to provide the best in home care, that is the job of our in home staff and Nursing Director. We empower our caregivers to bring up concerns to our office staff without worrying about being dismissed or treated like they are bothering the office staff. We take time to listen to their concerns and make sure we address any small issues before they become larger problems.
Our pro-active approach to ensure our caregivers feel valued, appreciated and empowered leads to them being fully invested in their client’s care and reporting any change that may occur in their client's condition quickly and efficiently.
