We Provide Home Care Services To Veterans Living in Fairfax County & Prince William County.
While most seniors prefer to maintain their independent lifestyle as they age, it can become difficult to do so. Elderly adults, particularly senior veterans, often face challenges living independently later in life. Military veterans are more prone to experiencing PTSD, Alzheimer’s disease, or possibly other health matters that require assistance earlier in life than civilians.
As an approved veteran home care provider, Visiting Angels in Prince William County understands the sensitive nature of providing care to veterans. We provide non-medical in-home care services to senior veterans residing in Fairfax County, Prince William County, including Quantico and Fort Belvoir.

Qualifying for Veterans’ Benefits
The Department of Veterans Affairs runs programs that may provide financial assistance for home care.
Services help chronically ill or disabled veterans of any age remain in their homes.
Palliative care and respite care are among the services that may be available. See more information from Veterans Affairs here.
The department also runs programs called Aid & Attendance and Housebound that provide additional financial assistance for beneficiaries who are homebound or need assistance.
To qualify, the veteran or surviving spouse must be eligible for a Veterans Affair pension and require the aid and assistance of another person (or be housebound).
The veteran must have served at least 90 days, with at least one day during wartime. The veteran or spouse must have less than $80,000 in assets (excluding the home and vehicle).
