Millville MA was first settled in 1662. It has an industrial heritage developed around a succession of mills, spanning the Blackstone River and Blackstone Canal and along the rail lines of the Providence and Worchester Railroad. The development of housing for the factory workers and its division from Blackstone led to Millville’s establishment in 1916.
