Meals On Wheels

Ensure you’re getting nutritious daily meals with home meal delivery from Meals on Wheels.

Who They Are

Meals on Wheels is a national program that delivers nutritious meals to homebound seniors and adults with disabilities. Volunteers deliver meals to eligible residents Monday through Friday, with an option for frozen meals for customers who need assistance on the weekend. An eligible resident is an individual who can not grocery shop for themselves and has physical or developmental challenges that limit their ability to cook and prepare food for themselves.

What They Do

The primary mission of Meals on Wheels is to ensure all have access to nutritious, freshly prepared meals daily. However, Meals on Wheels also provides wellness checks during meal deliveries and moments of companionship to help reduce feelings of loneliness among homebound locals. Meals on Wheels also offers community resource referrals to help customers improve their independence and quality of life.
