Festive Things To Do Near Beloit, WI, This Season

Grand Lighted Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting
What: Each year, on the day after Thanksgiving, downtown Beloit kicks off the holiday season with a festive Christmas tree lighting and sparkling parade. Bring the family for live music and entertainment for all ages.

Holiday Light Show at Rotary Botanical Gardens
What: Take a drive up to Janesville and experience the magic of the season by strolling through the Rotary Botanical Gardens. The holiday light show features more than 1.6 million dazzling lights on display starting the weekend of November 29.
When: Select dates from the end of November to early January 2025.

Downtown Beloit Winter Crafter & Farmers' Market
What: The popular farmers’ market heads inside every Saturday from November through April. During the holiday season, the market is bursting with festive twists, including decor and free, family-friendly events. Vendors will be selling local produce, baked goods, eggs and cheeses, artisan crafts, and much more. If your family gets hungry, there are food trucks outside to grab a bite.

Holidazzle in Downtown Beloit
What: If you and your senior loved one enjoy browsing for gifts together, this event is a can’t-miss. Over 25 shops in Downtown Beloit will come alive with late-night shopping and twinkling holiday displays. Businesses will also be displaying local artwork that is available for purchase on this single night only! Families can cap off their night with a magical trolley ride and seasonal treats.
When: December 6, 2024, 5-9 PM
Where: Downtown Beloit
Lincoln-Tallman Museum Holiday Tree Show
What: Head to nearby Janesville to view over a hundred Christmas trees and other decorations inside the historic mansion. Each tree is sponsored by a business, non-profit, or family, and features a different theme. Be sure to bring your grandkids, as kids under age 15 enjoy free admission to the self-guided tour.
When: Weekly, Thursday through Sunday, beginning November 29th and ending December 30th, 2024.
