Maritri Savino Recognized as National Caregiver of the Year Award Nominee

Visiting Angels San Diego is proud to announce that the Visiting Angels Home Office recognizes our very own Maritri Savino. She is moving on to Round 2 for the Visiting Angels 2023 National Caregiver of the Year Award. 

Maritri is among the caregivers selected from hundreds of nationwide nominations. This national program recognizes a caregiver from a Visiting Angels franchise location who demonstrates extraordinary commitment to their clients, families, and the mission. 

“Caregiving requires compassion, patience, and dedication. It is not an easy job,” says Larry Meigs, CEO of Visiting Angels. “Maritri and the other nominees for the 2023 Caregiver of the Year award demonstrate their extraordinary commitment to their clients by helping them maintain their independence as long as possible.”

The Caregiver of the Year semi-finalists will be announced on March 21st. The grand prize winner will be announced on June 21st. The grand prize winner will receive a $5,000 prize. Two finalists will each receive $2,500.
