Located at 1035 Monterey Street, this theater is a short 10-minute walk from San Luis Obispo Station. Enjoy live entertainment from leading performers, including musicians, comedians, and more. Built in 1941, the Fremont Theater reflects the city’s rich history and culture. 

2. Take a Private Winery Tour

Held every Thursday at 6pm on Higuera Street in downtown San Luis Obispo, the farmers’ market features over 100 local vendors spanning five blocks. You can shop for baked goodies, handmade goods, fresh produce, scrumptious meals, and more. Operating for over 40 years, the farmers’ market hosts live entertainment. While the market’s boundaries are closed to traffic, plenty of parking is within a short distance.

4. Stroll Through the Park 

San Luis Obispo, CA, is a dream come true for outdoor enthusiasts. The city is home to many scenic parks, including Anholm Park, Cheng Park, Buena Vista Park, Emerson Park, and De Vaul Park. The San Luis Obispo Senior Center, located at 1445 Santa Rosa Street, offers many programs and resources for local seniors at little to no cost. Take a fitness class, try your luck at bingo, or join a book club. These are all great ways to socialize and meet new people.
