After returning home, Duane faced several months of recovery time. He also needed help with daily activities, exercise and getting to medical appointments when Marian needed to go into the office. Stan, one of their longtime Visiting Angels caregivers, helped with all of Duane’s needs–and more. He would cook meals for Marian before he left and kept Duane company when he visited the ER.

Despite facing a second open-heart surgery, Duane’s recovery is on track, and he’s back to working (from home).
