In-home Care
Your loved one or you, may need bathing assistance. Our caregivers do not just step in and take over, they assess the bathing needs. Do you or your loved one need complete bathing care or would the requirements be for a caregiver to stand aside and lend a hand? We will determine the particular needs that will be needed and wanted when we are invited in for the FREE in-home consultation.
Companion Care
Two of the many services provided by Visiting Angels Dearborn are walking assistance and companionship. Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum are wonderful places to walk around and explore the beauty of America and its history. Our expert caregiver and your loved one or you, can enjoy the rich history either indoors or out at the museum or the village while building up strong walking habits and having a one-on-one conversation. If you or your loved one cannot leave the home, the caregiver is happy to encourage walking and help with walking while going about the in-home daily activities.
Medication Reminders
Visiting Angels Dearborn will make sure your loved one has taken their medications. Our caregiver can remind you or your loved one to take medication or can supervise that meds are being taken properly and at the right time. We know how important it is to get the correct meds at the correct time and to be taken the way the doctor has advised.
In-home Consultation
Visiting Angels Dearborn caregivers will develop strategic, inventive, and safe ways to help your loved one or you, become stronger in the daily living activities that we all enjoy in our own homes. We want to help so that living independently will become the goal if it is attainable. If it is not, Visiting Angels Dearborn is here to assist in keeping you or your loved one at home for as long as possible. If home is at a facility, we will do everything to give that one-on-one care so that you or your loved one feels at home.
Meet Your Caregiver
The first step to take to find out how Visiting Angels Dearborn can become your home care provider is to call us. It is a FREE phone call and you may ask as many questions as you like. You may call as often as you need to until you feel comfortable setting up the in-home consultation. Once Visiting Angels Dearborn and you have met to set up the days and shifts, we can move on to the “meet your caregiver” stage. Please know, that you can change your caregiver if you feel like it is not the right fit.
NOTE: If you or your loved one is a VETERAN, there are paid services for you through the Veterans Administration. Visiting Angels Dearborn is a preferred vendor with the V.A.
