At Visiting Angels of the Tri-Cities, we don’t believe in “on the job training!” All our caregivers have a strong employment history in the senior care industry. All prospective Angel Companions must be able to demonstrate their knowledge and expertise of senior care services prior to joining our team. We will only hire those caregivers who can demonstrate their commitment to providing quality care at all times. Our commitment to hiring only the finest senior care providers has resulted in low turnover among our caregivers. Many of our caregivers have worked with us for years.
We recommend to our franchised senior care agencies that they perform multiple interviews with each prospective caregiver. We also encouraged all our Visiting Angels locations to obtain references from reliable sources (previous clients, agencies, healthcare institutions, religious and volunteer organizations, etc.) before a caregiver is hired or referred to a client as an Angel Companion.
