Medicare GUIDE Program in Amarillo

Have you heard about the new dementia GUIDE program? Medicare's Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model is designed to help improve the quality of life of seniors living with dementia, as well as ease the strain of their unpaid caregivers. This new GUIDE Model does this by offering in-home dementia care and respite care services. If your loved one has dementia and meets the eligibility requirements, you can sign up for support and dementia respite care near you. 

At Visiting Angels Amarillo, we have partnered with approved providers to offer these dementia care benefits starting July 1, 2025. The program is new, and details are still being rolled out.
