The Visiting Angels that have come to assist us in our home are warm, caring, and professional individuals, and for that my husband and I are most grateful. We have recommended your service to others.
I am writing this, however, to especially sing praises for the young Angel who frequents our home on a regular basis: Shantel. She has all the characteristics already mentioned plus Shantel brings a special joy with her efficiencies. There is never any hesitation to serve, but it is with a light heart and joy beyond what is required of her. We so look forward to her visits and her help in our home.

Seventeen years ago, I looked forward to the time that I would require help in my daily living. I did not wish to ever have to go to a Nursing home or Rest home.
I had heard that there were Insurance Companies that offered a policy that provided the means to make Home care possible. I contacted one and signed for their policy. It is now seventeen years later, and I am now over one hundred years old and the Home care that I needed was now necessary.
I had heard there was a service called Visiting Angels in my area headed by Kyle Kasler and his wife. I contacted him. They have provided the Home care I had hoped for. The personnel they have provided certainly lives up to their name “Visiting Angels.”

I just wanted to write you a short letter letting you know how pleased we were with the care from your three employees, Cindy, Kim, and Jennifer at Visiting Angels. They did a great job and my mother, Catherine, stated several times that they were very helpful, kind, respectful and comfortable to be around. My mother also made several comment regarding the care that showed your people were willing to go beyond the norm, such as Cindy made a banana nut bread for her, sat with her while she listen to some of her books providing her with company, made sure her book tapes were out in the mail every day, and brought back the garbage can after the weekly collection. Kim took out the garbage can for collection and even made some food from scratch that she thought my mother would like.
This was our first time using your service and it was for nine days, so your good service was very important to us. Kyle, we greatly appreciate the care you took in selecting the right people, caregivers that we can trust. We will need to travel again and hope to be able to call upon your service again.
Once we have relocated to Florida, we also hope that a Visiting Angels group in our new home will provide us with the same quality care we received from your people.

Caring for others has been my life time mission. Beginning at home with my family then pursuing nursing care as a profession.
After retiring I found that staying home was not for me and so I sought work that would be meaningful and rewarding.
It was my luck and honor to find Visiting Angels of Clarkston. Each day that I work is joyful and fulfilling. I feel that I get back more than I put in by building lasting and trusting relationships with the clients that I visit.
I have been welcomed into their homes with open arms and after a short while have been able to build rapports that make me feel as if I were part of the family.
Recently I took a leave of absence due to illness and was hospitalized. When I returned home I was overwhelmed with emotions to find a stack of well wishes from my clients waiting for me. This is when I realized that this is not just a job. Building a trusting relationship is important not only to the client but to myself as well. They rely on me and I feel and obligation to be the best representative of Visiting Angels I can be and not let these people down in any way. They trust me to be dependable and courteous and I strive to keep them satisfied.
