It’s not an easy or comfortable decision to have a caregiver in your home. Visiting Angels is here to offer our personalized screening process system to help make our clients and their families feel more comfortable with in home care assistance from a caregiver. We begin our in home care assistance screening process with getting to know the strengths and personalities of our caregivers—we only have the best of the best on our team at Visiting Angels. Afterwards, we get to know our clients more closely through an in-home, free, consultation. During this consultation we will ask in depth questions about any services a client thinks they may need. Once we have referred a caregiver to you, we are able to schedule a meet and greet within your home.

We do not begin services until you have expressed that you are ready and comfortable to move forward. You are always able to request a new caregiver, if needed, at any time. You are in complete control of your care.

You Are In Charge

It is important to us that our clients know that they are in charge of anything and everything that is related to their care. We are a non-medical, non-nursing agency, so we are not going to dictate what we think your schedule will, or should, be—for example, we will not tell you when you need to wake up, bathe, eat, get fresh air etc. You will tell us what you need and when you need it; we will do our job while adjusting to your schedule. We want to ensure that you are safe, content, and taken care of all of the while being in the comfort your own home.
