Senior Care Community Events in Fairfield and Brookfield, CT

Visiting Angels of Fairfield and Brookfield would like to introduce everyone to our latest addition to the team: Honey! Honey is a robotic Yorkshire terrier who was created to look, act, and feel like a real dog. We adopted Honey to help seniors in our community who are suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. She was a huge hit with the local assisted living facility, The Commons of Newtown, and we hope she continues to give them plenty of smiles and affection!

Visiting Angels of Fairfield and Brookfield and St. Rose of Lima Church Outreach Ministry had the pleasure to present From Desperation to Determination on Tuesday, November 12th. Author and motivational speaker, CJ Golden, led an informative and interactive seminar where she shared the lessons she learned through her caregiving experience and helped participants understand how the outlook of a caregiver can shift from desperation to determination.

Visiting Angels of Fairfield had the pleasure of collaborating on October 11th with Saugatuck Sweets for the tastiest way to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's. For this event, 10% of the proceeds were donated to the 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer's. Our team had such a fun time during this event! To learn more about this event, you can click here.

Visiting Angels of Fairfield and Brookfield had a great time supporting the Walk to End Alzheimer's on October 13th! The Walk to End Alzheimer's is a world-renowned fundraiser to help raise awareness, proceeds, and support for people with Alzheimer's.
