Using Medicaid to Cover Costs for Home Care Services

If you are eligible for Medicaid and meet certain criteria, assistance with personal care needs such as bathing or getting dressed, is covered. Covered home care services may also include:

Eligibility for State Medicaid

To qualify for Medicaid, you must meet certain conditions determined by level of income and the assets you own. If you are eligible for Medicaid, the state will make an additional determination on whether you qualify for long-term care services.
