Visiting Angels Glendora was founded by Lindsey Rehfeld in 2002 to address an unmet need in the community for seniors to receive care in the comfort of their own homes. Starting as a small operation out of a garage near Foothill Presbyterian Hospital, Visiting Angels Glendora has grown into a thriving home care agency with strong community ties. Visiting Angels Glendora has served over a thousand seniors and employed thousands of caregivers throughout the years.

Community Ties

Visiting Angels Glendora is not only focused on senior home care, but we are committed to providing to our communities as a whole. We support local causes such as YWCA’s San Gabriel Valley Women’s Shelter, Shepherd’s Pantry food bank, Covina Rotary’s Field of Valor (Veterans), Glendora Education Foundation, Charter Oak Education Foundation, Glendora Rotary, Emanate Health Foundation, and the Glendora Public Library. We partner with Azusa Pacific University through service learning projects and have hired many students and alumni over the years. We are grateful for the awards we have received. Glendora Chamber of Commerce awarded us Business of the Year in 2010 and 2019. We have also received honors from Glendora Coordinating Council, Assembly members Roger Hernandez and Blanca Rubio, as well as Senators Carol Liu and Anthony Potantino, to name a few. Our owner, Andrew Dilwicius, was recognized as a community service advocate for California as well as numerous recognitions from the Glendora School District, Charter Oak School District, and Covina School District.
