Visiting Angels of Marietta attended Information Day at the East Cobb Senior Center.

Education Panel at Delmar Gardens 

Visiting Angels of Marietta partnered with Forrester Financial and Nelson Elder Care Law to provide specialty programs for our clients and explained how to use these services to maintain your independence. Forrester financial discussed the ins and outs of wealth transfer. The topics included:

• Who will receive your assets when you’re gone?
• What is the importance of a beneficiary?
• Who will be in charge of health care decisions and financial decisions, your children?
• Why are wills important?
• Understanding estate and gift taxes

National Hugging Day

We were excited to engage with the seniors in our community to celebrate National Hugging Day. Studies show that a hug can lower blood pressure, mitigate cold symptoms, and relieve the feeling of loneliness and isolation. Hugs help improve a seniors mood, act as an immune system booster, and help their heart!
