Qualifications We Seek in Future Caregivers
Visiting Angels of Northbrook is always seeking compassionate individuals who would make excellent caregivers with the following:
- Possess a diploma or GED.
- Make a commitment to helping the elderly in your neighborhood.
- Be able to pass a drug test and a background check in order to be hired.
- Take your responsibilities seriously.
- Engage in one-on-one interaction with elders and spark discussion with customers.
- Have worked as a caregiver for the elderly or the handicapped for at least a year.
- Experience caring for people with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia is helpful but not required. Applicants from the state of Illinois with a valid CNA certification are preferred (but not required) for this position.
