"We had Jim come out to my parents' home and go over what we needed. I expected a hard sell and frequent follow up calls-which I did not get, thankfully!! Jim clearly understands that people need time to come to terms with their limitations and need for help and gives them the space to do that. Once we were ready, I gave the office a call and they sent someone to my parents house to help them. The young lady assigned to my parents was wonderful and my parents really liked her. She was flexible, able to take my parents to appointments that were not on her scheduled days. I would definitely recommend Visiting Angels of Orland Park to others. The entire staff was wonderful and helped us when we really needed it."

"I’d like to share my experience with Visiting Angels, Jim Lederer, Kathy and all the staff. My Mother suddenly needed a caregiver after living alone for many years. Since none of us lived near Mom or knew of any resources to provide such care, we luckily received a recommendation from a friend to try Visiting Angels in Orland Park. And Angels they truly are. From the start, they went the extra mile to assist my family and my Mom through the difficult transition, recovery and caregiving that Mom needed. With family so far away, every aspect of her life needed attention, from phone service to groceries. In emergencies, at night, on holidays and weekends, if she needed help, they provided it quickly and efficiently. Jim and Kathy managed the office and were totally responsive to all our questions and concerns. Jim actually took the time to go to Best Buy to replace a cellphone for Mom and show her how it worked. Kathy was always right there with guidance and advice and too often at the last minute she did what was needed to do what was needed for my Mom. They accompanied her to the hospital in emergencies and took her to doctors appointment as well. They were totally upfront and clear about all charges and expenses throughout our working relationship. Virtually all the caregivers who were with Mom developed a friendship with Mom, became advocates for her and demonstrated genuine compassion and concern for her well being. They were wonderful. I will miss them and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for everything they did for my Mom."
