Visiting Angels is a nationally respected network of non-medical, private duty home care agencies providing senior care, elder care, personal care and companion care to help the elderly and adults who wish to continue to live in their homes. Our Orlando / Winter Park office proudly provide senior care in Orlando, assisted living at home in Winter Park, and senior care in Maitland, FL.

Visiting Angels - Orlando Story

The Visiting Angels - Orlando / Winter Park office is family owned and operated by Peg Pickett. Peg also owns and operates the Visiting Angels franchise in The Villages. The franchise is one of the longest owned franchises and we assist over 200 clients daily and employ over 300 caregivers. Visiting Angels has been servicing the Orlando/Winter Park area since 2006.

In 2006 Peg’s mother passed away and decided to open our first Visiting Angels franchise in Orlando/Winter Park/Maitland Florida. Today Visiting Angels of Orlando/Winter Park/Maitland Florida is one of the top franchises and Peg has spoken at many venues about the momentum and dedication it takes to create a thriving business. Peg truly believes in treating everyone as we would want to be treated.   

In 2014 Peg opened a second franchise in Lady Lake, Florida which soon became in the top 25 franchises.    In 2010 Peg was runner up in the Businesswomen of the Year award and participates in Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, on many Boards of Directors including Alzheimer’s Family Organization. Peg believes in giving back to the communities with multi charities.  One of the Charities we started was for needy children. Pillows and Blankets for our Kids, this organization raised over 500 blankets, over 300 pillows and over 200 pillowcases.  We did that through local businesses and community involvement in 3 weeks. 

Peg and her Team believes in caring for our seniors as we would our own parents. Peg is very proud of her family owned and operated business and her wonderful team.

• 300 kind and caring employees who are properly background checked (FBI Level II, additionally background checked through Critical Research)

• Care for over 200 clients each day.
• Perform care 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.
• Can perform 24-hour care and live in care.
• Can provide Emergency Care – “Angels In Waiting”.
• Phones are answered by Visiting Angels staff 24/7. We do not use an answering service that cannot assist you with your needs.
