Meet our friendly staff from our Visiting Angels Orlando / Winter Park office location.

Peg Pickett - Owner/CEO

In 2006 Peg’s mother passed away and decided to open her first Visiting Angels franchise in Orlando/Winter Park/Maitland, Florida. Today Visiting Angels - Orlando is one of the top franchises. Peg has spoken at many venues about the momentum and dedication it takes to create a thriving business. Peg truly believes in treating everyone as we would want to be treated.   

In 2014 Peg opened a second franchise in Lady Lake Florida which soon became in the top 25 franchises.    In 2010 Peg was runner up in the Businesswomen of the Year award and participate in Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, on many Boards of Directors including Alzheimer’s Family Organization.

Peg believes in giving back to the communities with multi charities.  One of the Charities we started was for needy children. Pillows and Blankets for our Kids, this organization raised over 500 blankets, over 300 pillows and over 200 pillowcases.  We did that through local businesses and community involvement in 3 weeks. 

Peg and her Team believes in caring for our seniors as we would our own parents. Peg is very proud of her family owned and operated business and her wonderful team.

Susan T. - Director of Operations – October 2015

Susan Tibbals has worked in the Senior Living Industry for close to 30 years. She started out in Independent and Assisted Living Communities and then went on to specialize in Dementia Care at a Memory Care Community. Susan started with Visiting Angels over 8 years ago and takes great pride in overseeing the day-to-day operations. Susan loves helping families and clients navigate the complicated maze of senior care and services. She was blessed with her first grandchild in 2023 and loves traveling to Texas to see him.

Rosa J. - Lead Client Care Coordinator– October 2016

Rosa Johnson joined the Visiting Angels Team as a Companion caregiver in 2010. Shortly after, she became a certified HHA and continued her journey of caring for clients.

In 2016 she joined the office team as Client Care Coordinator. She is currently our Lead Client Care Coordinator and handles all scheduling matters, monitoring, coaching, training, and developing caregivers and strives to provide exceptional customer service.

Rosa is passionate about what she does, and her goal is to provide the highest quality of customer service with compassion and integrity. She is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of our clients, families, and caregivers.

Rosa and her husband moved to Orlando Florida in 1994 due to the warm weather. They raised their four children (currently adults), and she loved spending time with her husband and going to the Beach!

Shannon M. - Director of Client Services – September 2019

Shannon Manning was born and raised in Orlando and is the youngest of six children. She graduated from Winter Park High School and attended the University of Florida where she graduated with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner. For over 30 years, she has been working to make a difference in the lives of the elderly and their families. She has experience working as an Activity Director in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and memory care facilities.

Shannon’s mother was diagnosed with Dementia, and she personally aided in her caretaking throughout this journey. This experience allowed Shannon to understand firsthand the difficulties and struggles families face when caring for a loved one. This led her to join the team at Visiting Angels to have the opportunity to help families navigate the care for their loved ones and provide guidance along the journey.

Shannon is passionate about helping others and making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families.

She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dogs Winston and Louie in her free time.

Veronica R. - Client Care Coordinator – August 2021

Veronica has been with Visiting Angels for just over 2 years. After moving to Florida from Maine she decided to make a career change. She previously worked in the beauty industry for 20 years. While she enjoyed making clients look and feel beautiful, there was one incredibly special client of hers. She was diagnosed with dementia, but her son always brought her in every week to get her favorite shade of pink. She would always leave the salon with a smile and a hug. She passed away early in 2021.

At that time, she felt it was time for a change. Veronica packed up her two kids, they all loaded up in her vehicle and headed south. When she arrived, she saw an opening with Visiting Angels, and took a shot. Managing salons and spas in the past gave her the office skills she needed along with the customer service experience. She fit right into this new field and as much as she does miss the world of beauty, this was the best decision she could have made. Veronica has created a home here in Winter Springs, FL with her two incredible kids, Olivia & Liam, and their pup Cody aka The Doctor.

Ginny F. - Community Liaison – August 2023

Ginny Foley retired early after 15 years as an Account Executive in Sales and Marketing for the American Automobile Association National Office (AAA) in Heathrow Florida. Retired early gave Ginny the chance to do something she always wanted to do, work in the field of Health Care. Ginny is a Certified Patient Care Technician, ECG Monitoring Technician and Phlebotomist, and worked for Advent Health of Central Florida as a Health Unit Coordinator before coming to Visiting Angels as the Community Liaison.

Ginny loves talking to the community about how having a Visiting Angel take care of your loved one in their own home that they are familiar with can benefit their health. Ginny was raised in Altamonte Springs and Longwood Fl and has lived in East Orlando for 30 years with her Husband Chris, Daughter Jen and dog Roxy.
