Kenny & Julia Byler, Owners
(Madeline, Sadie & Kaden)
Kenny & Julia Byler have been married for 18 years. They have served the families of the US military overseas as teachers for the Department of Defense for the last 13 years. A mutual desire to provide their children an American cultural experience and to live out our passion of helping others has brought them to the Treasure Coast.
They are excited to work hard to provide the best care for families in need. They believe love and respect for the wonderful caregivers of the Treasure Coast will propel opportunities to serve families who seek care in their time of need.
Kenny holds a B.A. from East Texas Baptist University (ETBU), an M.Div. from Truett Seminary, Baylor University and a M.Ed from Grand Canyon University. Julia holds a B.S. from ETBU and an M.S. in Kinesiology from Lamar University.
They have three children. Madeline (12) enjoys competing in soccer, table tennis and reading good books. Sadie (11) enjoys creating Roblox games, solving Rubix cubes and just began learning the trombone. Kaden (9) enjoys being competitive in soccer and table tennis.
Tessy Neves Dias, Office Manager
Tessy was bornin Sao Paulo State, Brazil and raised in the coastal town of Vitoria. She has lived in the U.S. for over 15 years and in Barcelona, Spain for one year. Through competitive swimming, Tessy had the opportunity to travel all over Brazil and abroad. Tessy and her husband Erik (Mr. Lee) have been married for 18 years and have been blessed with 3 daughters, ages 14 (Agnes), 10 (Melina) and 3 (Hanessa) years old. Tessy earned a BS in Business Administration and Human Resources from UNIP-SP. She also studied Athletic Training in Sports Medicine at Mankato State University and Winona State University.
Linda Buckholtz, Schedule Coordinator
Born and raised in NJ and moved to the Treasure Coast in 2005. Mother of three ( one daughter-40 and twin sons 38) and proud Nana of 2 beautiful granddaughters, Alexa is 10 and Makayla 12 who lives with me in Port St Lucie.
In my spare time I enjoy cruising with my friends and family and traveling to Europe as often as possible.
I have over 30 years of experience as a scheduling coordinator joined Visiting Angels as a caregiver January 2023 and now have the privilege of joining the office staff January 2024.
Lea O'Brien, Community Relations Director
Lea is a native of northwest New Jersey and moved to the Treasure Coast in 1994. She is dedicated to building strong connections and has a passion for helping others through life's challenges. With a background in both the funeral and medical service industries, Lea brings a wealth of experience to her role at Visiting Angels. Her dedication to supporting families during difficult times has made her a strong advocate for those in need. Outside of work, Lea enjoys baking and sharing quality time with friends and family, including her husband Dan, their two children, Katelyn & Kevin and beloved dog, Koda. Lea also cherishes family vacations to the North Georgia mountains. Hiking to see waterfalls, kayaking and tubing down the river, horseback riding and visiting local markets are some of their favorite things to do.
