Do you offer "as needed" senior care?
No, we do not offer "as needed" care. We are willing to offer short-term care to those recovering from surgery, hospitalizations or other injuries but we are most successful when care is provided on a regular, on-going basis.
How do elderly care services in Richmond support independent living?
Our services allow seniors to sustain their independence by providing assistance with activities of daily living as well as assisting with "keeping the home running." By offering support such as hygiene assistance, meal prep, running errands, and med reminders, Visiting Angels is able to help our clients reside in their residence of choice.
Does Medicaid or Medicare cover in-home care services in Richmond, VA?
Medicare has been promising to reimburse for some homecare services but to date, they have not offered a program that reimburses for on-going home-based care. Although Medicaid does cover in-home care, our office does not currently participate with Medicaid.
