Chris Smith – Chief Visionary Officer - Pagosa Office
As our CVO, Chris is the strategic business planner for our many Visiting Angels offices. He motivates the staff with the latest company goals to continuously improve and grow the services we provide. His persistence is invaluable as our Visiting Angels agency continues to expand and provide the best care to our clients. He is also an advocate with many local care support agencies. Chris relates, "My wife Michele and I heard about Visiting Angels and were attracted by the opportunity to do something good, start a business that would bring more jobs to our area and also help my Grandma. We do serve as angels as we help to better the lives of our clients".

Michelle Johnson - Chief Executive Officer- Pagosa Office
Michelle’s background is in Corporate Management. Her experience in leadership and guidance is the driving force to achieving the organizational goals of our agency. She has lived in SW Colorado for over 24 years, and loves serving her community. Her job as Administrative Director includes many roles, but she is focused on creating the best environment for our staff, allowing us to provide excellent, professional care to our clients and families.

LuAnn Ormonde – Care Director - Pagosa Office
LuAnn's leadership plays a vital role in our company, as the Care Director. She began with the company as a caregiver with a heart for helping others. Her skills in office management serve in coordinating all aspects of care. Her experience includes 11 years as office manager for a cardiac-thoracic surgeon, managing local restaurants, and hours of volunteer positions in her church. LuAnn strives for excellence, and is a strong leader in our agency.

Brenda Jeffryes Peacock – Marketing Director - Pagosa Office
Brenda oversees resources and marketing in all areas, promoting our outstanding company in the field. Her marketing degree and expertise as a former client care manager, combine to make her sensitive to new ways to creatively present the resources we offer in homecare. Brenda has been with us since the beginning, and is devoted to both leadership and excellence.

Emily Green- Mentor/Training Coordinator- Pagosa Office
Emily has been in Pagosa Springs for 13 years. She is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with a background in Oncology and general patient care. Her passions lie in patient care, raising her four children with her husband and enjoying nature in Pagosa Springs. Emily is a caring, outgoing individual whose focus is excellent care-giving to our community. She is a great addition to our Angel Team.

Doni Cobb– Communication Specialist- Pagosa Office

Doni is originally from Albuquerque, NM, but has spent most of her life in Pagosa Springs. She loves gardening, crafting, cooking, and antiquing. She loves the area and the beauty of the mountains. She also loves helping and serving others, which is perfect for her front desk assistance. Doni is the kind voice on the phone and the welcoming face of our busy office. .

Kathleen Castellot – Special Projects/Admin Asst- Pagosa Office
Kathleen started with Visiting Angels in 2013 as a caregiver. She has served in various roles, and is now assisting our Care Director. She and her husband both enjoy numerous outdoor sports, including, windsurfing, water and downhill skiing, riding motorcycles and golf. She is thrilled to be back on our Angel team, in hopes of making a positive impact for both caregivers and clients. We appreciate Kathleen for her “can do” attitude!

Sue Feehan- Pagosa/Ute Tribe Client Care Manager- Pagosa Office
Sue’s background is in health, fitness, and customer service. She has lived in Pagosa for two years and loves the area and the people. In the last 25 years, Sue was a fitness instructor & director in a retirement community, she owned her own personal training business, which catered to all ages and specialized in clients over 65. Sue is passionate about serving our local and tribal clients, and helping them thrive.

Scheduling Team

David DiPietro Lead Scheduler- Pagosa Office
David comes to us by way of New Hampshire. He moved to Colorado to study forestry, obtaining a degree from Colorado State University, where he met his beautiful wife. He has extensive experience in sales and management, making his skillset a nice fit for the scheduling department. His calm quiet nature and love for the outdoors is a perfect fit for Pagosa.

Human Resources Team

Kindolyn Tully- Human Resource Generalist- Pagosa office
Native to Pagosa and being blessed to raise her now grown children, Kindolyn has always taken advantage of the great outdoors, including hiking and camping. She loves a good physical challenge and also loves taking photos of the surrounding beauty. She has a long career in restaurant management and service, and also has remodel skills. Her true heart is in serving people, and it shows in her HR role.

Kathy Compton/ Human Resource Generalist- Pagosa Office
Kathy is new to the Pagosa area, along with her family and dogs. She has experience managing a business office and nursing facility, and various other businesses. Hiking, fishing, and ATVs are just a few of the great outdoor adventures she loves. Kathy’s calm and friendly voice are a huge asset to our HR team, as she kindly assists with personnel and new hires.

Accounting Team

Moria Spencer - Accounting/Payroll – Pagosa Office
Moria is a proud mother of three. She enjoys all that the outdoors has to offer in our area, and watching sports, especially football. She has been in the accounting field for over 7 years, and loves using her critical thinking skills to problem solve. Moria is loyal and empathetic, and she has an optimistic outlook that she brings to our accounting team.

Teri Danielson --Veteran Billing Clerk- Remote Office
Teri is our calm and caring billing clerk. She is responsible for maintaining, processing, and submitting all billing for our Veteran clients. Teri is very experienced in the bookkeeping area. She works well with numbers and enjoys the little details of her job. Teri is a vital part of our cherished Veteran services.

Kristen Duvall - Accounting/Payroll- Pagosa Springs Office
Kristin comes to us from the San Antonio/Austin area with an extensive accounting background. She, her husband, and 2 dogs moved to Pagosa Springs in 2022. Kristin loves the four seasons of Colorado. She loves to hike, cross-country ski, snowshoe, and spend time with family. She serves us well in her accounting role and does it with confidence and kindness.

Torri Medina- Accounting/Billing – Pagosa Springs Office
Torri has been with us for 3 years and has served well in many positions. Caregiver, receptionist, on-call, and now billing. She recently moved back to her hometown of Pagosa Springs, and her hobbies are fishing, camping, and family. Torri enjoys helping others with billing issues and is kind and helpful to everyone.

Christian Cornish - Controller – Pagosa Office
Christian has Midwest roots but a mountain soul. He and his wife started their family in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and moved to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a period of time. They now call Pagosa Springs home. He has over 12 years of accounting, finance, and leadership experience across multiple industries. You will find him at the CrossFit gym in his free time, playing games and adventuring with his wife and their six children. Christian is a true leader of our complex accounting team.

Meghan McGuire - Durango area Client Care Manager- Durango Office
Meghan is a passionate advocate for community health and a vital part of our team. Her degree in Public Health and her work in Community Health brings a holistic approach to supporting our clients and their families. She loves meeting new people, spending time with her loved ones, and adventuring outside. Meghan’s mission is to ensure that each Durango area client receives the compassionate care they deserve.

San Luis Valley Office

Clorinda Chavez-Martinez - Client Care Manager San Luis Valley - Alamosa Office
Clorinda’s job as care manager includes interviews, schedules home assessment visits, assists in franchise training and marketing to the San Luis Valley. Clorinda’s background has been in human resources for 17 years at the Alamosa hospital and for 15 years in payroll and in accounts payable. Clo is fully committed to excellence in client care, and she gives 100% to our agency.

Farmington Office

Tracey Howlett- Client Care Manger- Farmington Office
Tracey is a native to the Four corners area, and grew up as a rodeo girl. She and her family love the Farmington area and all it has to offer. Tracey’s experience as a CNA, an office manager, and assisting others with careers/college, serves her well in her office manager role. Tracey has a sweet spirit and the desire to help people. She is a bright spot to serve our NM clients.
