Before getting started with Visiting Angels, talk with your loved one about investing in home care services. Your loved one may have some questions or concerns that you can clear up before bigger misunderstandings can develop later on.
Once you and your loved one are ready, you can set up an initial meeting with Visiting Angels. One of our intake coordinators will get to know you and your loved one. We will learn about their needs, medical conditions, preferences, challenges, and more. We gather information about our clients to develop an understanding of any special needs or requests they may have. From there, we carefully create customized care plans for our senior clients, all while accommodating their preferences and schedules.

Local Resources Available to Seniors in Richfield, MN
Several local resources are available to seniors in the Richfield community, including various senior living communities and service centers that our caregivers would love to help your senior utilize. The City of Richfield has a number of Active Aging programs.
The Senior Health and Human Services, located at the Community Center , offers a range of activities and services to meet older adults' needs. These include physical, educational, and recreational activities aimed at enriching the lives of seniors.​ There is even a Senior Bike Group that gets together every Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the summer. In addition, there is an opportunity for senior dining Monday - Thursday for seniors to enjoy company and conversation with fellow seniors at the Community Center.
A great option for seniors to enjoy the great outdoors is a visit to the Wood Lake Nature Center. These trails are open daily from sunrise to 11:00 p.m. and are a great place to take a walk with a caregiver and a quiet, relaxing place to get out of the house. For those who enjoy getting into a good book, the Augsburg Park Library is another place to go when
