Dedicated Home Care Services for Veterans

Veterans dedicate their lives to service, and as they age, they deserve care that honors their sacrifice and experiences. While aging can bring challenges for everyone, veterans may need specialized support due to service-related injuries or conditions. Our non-medical home care services provide personalized support to help veterans living in the Tulsa area age safely and comfortably at home.

Each care plan that we create is dedicated to addressing the unique needs of the individuals they are created for. For veterans, a care plan might include any of the following:

  • Personal Care: Dignified and respectful assistance with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene maintenance.
  • Companion Care: Friendly company and social engagement while providing homemaking assistance such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands like grocery shopping or attending doctor appointments.
  • Specialized Care: Personalized care provided by our trained caregivers to support veterans with cognitive disorders, chronic conditions, or disabilities to make sure their care needs are met.
  • Respite Care: Temporary relief for veterans’ family caregivers to offer them a break from their caregiving duties to attend to their own needs.

Aide & Attendance

The Aid & Attendance Benefit provides benefits for war era veterans and their surviving spouses who require the regular attendance of another person to assist in at least two of the daily activities of living such as eating, bathing, dressing and undressing, transferring and the needs of nature. These benefits are Tax Free!

Veteran's Respite Care

Respite Care is a program that pays for care for a short time when family caregivers need a break, need to run errands, or need to go out of town for a few days. Respite Care can be helpful to Veterans of all ages, and their caregiver.

Homemaker/Home Health Aide Care

Services are based on your assessed needs. Talk with a VA social worker to find out what specific help you may be able to receive. For example, an aide may be able to come to your house several times a week or just once in a while. Examples of daily activities you may be able to receive help with include:

  • Eating
  • Getting dressed
  • Personal grooming
  • Bathing
  • Using the bathroom
  • Moving from one place to another
  • Grocery Shopping

You can continue to receive an aide's services for as long as you need extra help with your daily activities.
