Office Staff Attend Career Fair at Westfield State

What a great afternoon it was meeting students at the Westfield State University Job and Internship Fair last Wednesday! Michele and Mary spent February 26 from 1-3:30pm in WSU’s Scanlon Banquet Hall meeting with university students of all majors and fields. 

The event was not just an opportunity to meet students interested in healthcare and caregiving, but also those who had a diverse range of interests and stills, from IT to marketing. 

“The students were so friendly, eager, and inquisitive,” Michele, Owner of Visiting Angels of West Springfield, commented. “We had to have given out over 40 business cards.”

Visiting Angels of West Springfield set up a table at the event along with over 75 other employers offering prospective careers or internship opportunities. This also allowed for our staff to meet and network with other business professionals in the area including Baystate Health, the US Marine Corps, Massachusetts State Police, the City of Springfield etc.
