Providing Quality Senior Home Care Since 2002
Visiting Angels Whittier started from a desire to provide the elderly of our communities with the choice to stay in their homes as long as appropriate. When we opened our Glendora office in 2002, senior home care service was somewhat new to the community, and many people didn’t realize this option was available.
Within the first six months, we provided dozens of people with caregivers in their homes. Our first clients came to us through our relationships with PIH Hospital, the local churches, and our networks.
After a couple of office moves, we are now located on Whittier blvd, just a few miles from Uptown Whittier. Over the past several years, not only have we been able to help hundreds of families by providing senior home care to keep them safe, but we’ve created hundreds of local jobs. We are humbled and honored to know we’ve made a difference in our communities.
Our owner has a rich family heritage in San Gabriel Valley and the Gateway Cities. Having grown up in East Los Angeles and Baldwin Park and then graduating from Glendora High School, Andrew is a third-generation citizen of this area. The San Gabriel Valley communities are very dear to him, and he is pleased to have the opportunity to provide care and serve the seniors who built our neighborhoods.
Before becoming the owner of both the Glendora Visiting Angels and Whittier Visiting Angels, Andrew spent 20 years in Fortune 500 environments developing his management, marketing, and financial expertise. He also has spent years serving on foundation boards and as a President of Rotary, providing for those in need. Andrew also runs non-profit providing instruments to low-income families in the San Gabriel Valley.
We all share the desire and honor to help families every day. We feel so fortunate to assist people with senior care in our area. Allowing us to care for your loved one is something we take very seriously.
