What Happens After the Consultation?
Our care coordinators will use information from your consultation to develop a comprehensive care plan tailored to your loved one’s unique needs. The plan will include a schedule and a description of specific activities and tasks that require caregiver assistance. Your care coordinator will then match your loved one with a compatible senior caregiver.
When Does Care Begin?
If you would like to proceed with Visiting Angels Central Coast, we will create a schedule, finalize the care plan, schedule a nurse visit and coordinate a meeting with your senior caregiver. Caregivers can typically begin within 48 hours of the initial consultation. In some cases, we can begin providing in-home care services the same day.
What If I Live Outside the Central Coast Region?
At Visiting Angels Central Coast, we understand many families and senior loved ones live far apart. Rest assured that we have the resources needed to keep you in the loop regarding your loved one’s care. When our care coordinators come to your loved one’s home for the consultation, we can give you the option to call into the meeting or join via videoconferencing.
Once we begin providing care, our senior caregivers will inform you about your loved one’s well-being. That way, you can have peace of mind knowing your loved one is in good hands.
