Veterans Benefits for Home Care
Did you know your VA Benefits may cover costs for Home Care Services?
At Visiting Angels of Crystal Lake, we help our community live at home safely and independently by providing them with quality home care support. Our commitment to quality home care extends to our veterans as well! If you were active-duty military, air, or naval service, and did not leave under dishonorable conditions (or if you're the qualified dependent of someone who fits that definition), then you or your surviving spouse may be eligible to use your veteran benefits for in-home care services.
The cost for home care services may be covered under the Home and Community-Based Services which include services such as:
- Assisting with daily living activities (such as bathing, dressing, eating)
- Memory care such as Alzheimer’s and dementia care
- Support for disability or illness
- And more
