Visiting Angels of Naperville is pleased to announce the roll-out of Medication Management Services.

This service is designed for the clients to safely take their medications, and to alleviate the need for family or friends to interpret doctor’s orders and put together pills.

The service will be available in tandem with the current Non-Medical care, or exclusively, whichever the client prefers.

“Seniors and their families are often overwhelmed by the amount of information they receive, they have questions about what to take and when. We can provide that bridge to clarify issues as they arise” says R.N. Marybeth Stewart.

The Medication Management R.N. can review prescriptions, and sort them for easy, daily use. If there is a question about the medication, she will contact the physician’s office or local pharmacist on the client’s behalf for clarification or refills.

Families are encouraged to use this service for peace of mind…to lighten their load…to provide communication and information, even if they live out of town.

“When our R.N. visits, she can spend time with the client, answering questions, managing medications and monitoring any side effects of prescriptions for our clients, all in the safety of their own home.” added Laurie Johnson, Executive Vice President of the Naperville office.
