Visiting Angels of Naperville, IL is contracted with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Eligible veterans can use their VA benefits to help with the cost of in-home care services!

We work with the Aid and Attendance benefit and the Homemaker/Home Health Aide benefit. These programs pay for in-home care costs and can be life-changing for older adults who need them; they are offered to military veterans and their surviving spouses who need help with their daily activities or who have a clinical need that’s been identified by a VA physician.

Who Can Qualify for FREE HOME CARE?

These benefits are part of the Standard Medical Benefits Package; therefore, all veterans enrolled with the VA are eligible for them. There is no income threshold to qualify, and the cause of the need for care does not need to be service related.

If they meet the following criteria, veterans in Naperville, IL may qualify:

• They served in active military service and their separation/discharge was under any condition other than dishonorable.
• Current and former members of the Reserves or National Guard who were called to active duty (other than for training only) by a federal order and finished the entire time frame for which they were called to duty.
